Draft status
These Guidelines must match actual moderation categories, report flows, block behavior, access gating, and enforcement states before publication.
Core principles
- Use pseudonymity as privacy, not permission to harm.
- Respect consent before chat, reveal, off-platform contact, or sharing.
- Do not pressure people to reveal identity, photos, phone numbers, social handles, location, workplace, or school.
- Use report and block tools instead of escalating conflict.
Account rules
Users must be 18+, use their own authenticated account, complete the required access gate, and avoid impersonation, ban evasion, duplicate abusive accounts, scraping, spam, or scams. The controlled beta uses 18+ self-attestation and remains invite-only.
Profile and signal rules
Pseudonymous handles, personality signals, interests, and compatibility prompts are allowed. Public profile areas must not include nudity, explicit adult content, hate, threats, degrading content, contact details for immediate off-platform pressure, commercial solicitation, or fake verification claims.
Chat and reveal rules
Chat should be intentional, respectful, and safety-aware. Reveal must be mutual and explicit. Users must not coerce, threaten, repeatedly pressure, send nudity or sexually explicit media in the beta, share private content outside the app, or claim that expiring chat removes accountability.
Zero-tolerance categories
- Sexual content involving minors or age ambiguity.
- Nudity or sexually explicit image/video content in the beta.
- Grooming, exploitation, or attempts to contact minors.
- Threats of violence or credible intimidation.
- Hate or dehumanizing attacks.
- Non-consensual intimate content or threats to share it.
- Doxxing, stalking, repeated harassment, spam, scams, phishing, blackmail, or financial manipulation.
Safety tools
Users can report a profile, message, match, reveal event, or safety concern; block another user; leave or let a chat expire; decline reveal; and contact support or abuse contacts once final channels are published.
Enforcement
Possible actions include no action after review, warning, content removal, profile limitation, chat or reveal access revocation, temporary suspension, permanent ban, or appeal review. Reported content may be preserved beyond ordinary chat expiry for safety review.
Emergency note
The app is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, they should contact local emergency services or a trusted real-world contact.
